Illegal settlements of urbanization in Turkey

In Turkey,urban areas were expanded with illeGal settlements between the 1950 and 1985. Population was increased in urban areas because of the movement of rural population. Mechanization of the agriculture was main reason of it. There was a housing gap for this sudden population accumulation in 1950. Housing was important problem and migrants from rural to urban found out an easy solution for their housing problems. Its name was Gecekondu it was illegal and quick structure on the public land. Today,there are a lot of neigbourhoods in large cities that constitude from this type of housing. This settlements are legalized by municipalities with respect of poll reason. At last, cities welfare are decreased because of these reasons.In study, it will be analyzed by data. Period of time between 1950 and 1985 sectors and population relationships will be studied. Cause effect relations will be explained in this period. Population accumulation in cities reasons of rural population migration, neccessities of them as working, housing, children workforce and women place in urban places at this period will be analyzed in this study. From 1950 until today, how was affected of generations in urban areas? Urban migrants will be searched in social economic and politically in time period on Turkey.
